30 Day Relationship Challenge

So I did say I would probably try some of the other challenges on that tumblr, and I picked this one, because everyone, and I mean everyone, roots for ships. Whether we hate certain and would completely die for others, everyone notices different ones. Plus I have an awesome icon to attach to this entry. So here goes.

Day 1: Current favourite ship.

Bonnie Bennett/Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. You know, asides from the fact that she hates him and everything about him, they could totally work! Okay, so maybe not, but I have recently come across some pretty good fanfiction, and I don't think anyone could deny that Katerina Graham and Ian Somerhalder definitely have chemistry, although Ian Somerhalder could have chemistry with a brick wall, and they look pretty good together. Plus the whole witch/vampire thing is a complete plus! There does need to be more in-character fanfiction about them though; if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!
Day 2: Your very first ship.

Harry Potter/Hermione Granger from The Harry Potter Series. And before anyone says 'wth? how did you not see Ron/Hermione?', let me explain. The very first Harry Potter book I read was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and until we see Krum/Hermione interactions which make Ron want to hit something, we don't really get a sense of something underlying there. Until that point, we do however learn that Harry and Hermione are very close friends, and maybe it was a little gut thing kicking in where I think the hero and the best friend should get together, but I did. They do have very believable interactions, and I think without the entire backstory, it's very easy to imagine that there could be something going on. I'm totally discounting Cho, because I think it was obvious that was never going to get anywhere. Recently, I re-read Harry Potter anf the Deathly Hallows, and I did finally get that Ron/Hermione make a lot more sense, but the fangirl in me won't for some reason, let go of Harry/Hermione; there is a reason the world of fanfiction exists, right?
Day 3: A pairing that needs to happen now.

This is a little bit random, and probably not very well known, but Kate Ramsay/Mark Brennan from Neighbours. Since I first saw their interactions, even though he was interviewing her as part of a police investigation, I think anyone could tell that they have chemistry. And the 'someone, somewhere...' line was just so funny! So yeah, at the moment they are the only pairing on TV that make me want to squeal, and they need to have happened like, yesterday. Declan, (who used to be my favourite character before they re-cast him and completely changed his character) needs to get the hell over Kate and butt out so Kate and Mark can get together because that means more screen time for Mark, and I'm not saying no to that.
Day 4: The pairing with the most chemistry.

It's definitely not the most chemistry I've ever seen, but they came to mind first as having chemistry and an attraction that worked well, so I'll say Oliver Queen/Chloe Sullivan from Smallville. I've loved them together as couple for a really long time even though I only recently really got back into Smallville. I think the writer's actually did a good job portraying their relationship; from something which could be perceived as friends with benefits to something a bit more deeper and meaningful, there weren't any overly cheesy moments (which Smallville writers are quite prone to), and it wasn't so obvious when they finally did the lead up to them getting together, so to speak.
Day 5: The pairing with the least chemistry.

Even though they actually worked out fairly well in the books, I'm going to say Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley (movie). I don't know what that was, but chemistry it was not. Maybe it's because they were cast when they were so young and not really with a clue that there might be Harry/Ginny happening in later books, but that, for me, is one ship I can't stand to watch.
Day 6: The best kiss.

Apologies for the overdose on Australian soaps, but Martha/Jack from Home and Away. As a friend put it, that was breathtaking. The build up, the execution, everything. Sigh.
Day 7: The most heartbreaking scene.

Ten/Rose. Without a doubt, and I'm not even the biggest Ten/Rose fan, but that was utterly heartbreaking. I'm talking about the last scene in Doomsday for anyone that hadn't figured it out. I don't particularly rate Billie as a fantastic actor, but I thought she did that scene really well. And the thing that made me sit up and take notice, was that I had only started watching the season from the episode before, but I was crying my eyes out, that's how well it had been acted out.
Day 8: The pairing with the most baggage.
Day 9: The most believable relationship.
Day 10: Why aren't these two married in real life?
Day 11: Dream pairing.
Day 12: The best wedding.
Day 13: Favourite television pairing.
Day 14: Favourite book pairing.
Day 15: Favourite real life pairing.
Day 16: The worst pairing.
Day 17: A pairing you thought would never work out, but did.
Day 18: The cutest pairing.
Day 19: A pairing you've rooted for since the beginning.
Day 20: 'Can't stand the sexual tension anymore' pairing.
Day 21: A pairing you like and no-one understands why.
Day 22: A pairing you hate and no-one understands why.
Day 23: A crazy love triangle/quadrilateral that worked out great.
Day 24: A crazy love triangle/quadrilateral that worked out badly.
Day 25: A pairing that was/would be adorable but could never work out.
Day 26: A pairing that you hated and ended up loving.
Day 27: A pairing that you loved and ended up hating.
Day 28: A pairing that you will never understand.
Day 29: The best proposal.
Day 30: Your favourite ship forever and ever and ever.

I've just discovered Vampire Diaries. Love it and LOVE me some Damon!;-) I do agree that he and Bonnie would be a great pairing in more fanfics! I've only come across one so far:

I hope to find more!!
I tend to gush over Damon whenever Vampire Diaries is on, and feel like I'm having withdrawal symptoms now that its on a break. :)

Thanks for the rec; I don't think that's one that I've come across before, so I'll check it out. I've just started reading Causalties of Accidental Dating by skysamuelle on fanfiction.net - http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5775443/1/Causalties_Of_Accidental_Dating

I'm only a couple of chapters in, but it looks promising.

This community is worth checking out too!
Thanks for the fic rec! Also, for the damon/bonnie LJ!! I missed that?!!:-O I'm going to keep searching for more!! Unfortunately, I'm becoming obsessed with this topic and Damon!!!:-/
Lol, no problems! I don't think it's a bad thing at all that you're becoming obsessed with this topic and Damon! ;)

Just checked out your rec. Oh, my it was amazing. Just so fitting for what I perceive a potential Damon/Bonnie relationship to be like. Thanks, and if I come across any other fics, i'll definitely let you know!
