30 Day Relationship Challenge
Day 1: Current favourite ship.
Bonnie Bennett/Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. You know, asides from the fact that she hates him and everything about him, they could totally work! Okay, so maybe not, but I have recently come across some pretty good fanfiction, and I don't think anyone could deny that Katerina Graham and Ian Somerhalder definitely have chemistry,
Day 2: Your very first ship.
Harry Potter/Hermione Granger from The Harry Potter Series. And before anyone says 'wth? how did you not see Ron/Hermione?', let me explain. The very first Harry Potter book I read was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and until we see Krum/Hermione interactions which make Ron want to hit something, we don't really get a sense of something underlying there. Until that point, we do however learn that Harry and Hermione are very close friends, and maybe it was a little gut thing kicking in where I think the hero and the best friend should get together, but I did. They do have very believable interactions, and I think without the entire backstory, it's very easy to imagine that there could be something going on. I'm totally discounting Cho, because I think it was obvious that was never going to get anywhere. Recently, I re-read Harry Potter anf the Deathly Hallows, and I did finally get that Ron/Hermione make a lot more sense, but the fangirl in me won't for some reason, let go of Harry/Hermione; there is a reason the world of fanfiction exists, right?
Day 3: A pairing that needs to happen now.
This is a little bit random, and probably not very well known, but Kate Ramsay/Mark Brennan from Neighbours. Since I first saw their interactions, even though he was interviewing her as part of a police investigation, I think anyone could tell that they have chemistry. And the 'someone, somewhere...' line was just so funny! So yeah, at the moment they are the only pairing on TV that make me want to squeal, and they need to have happened like, yesterday. Declan, (who used to be my favourite character before they re-cast him and completely changed his character) needs to get the hell over Kate and butt out so Kate and Mark can get together
Day 4: The pairing with the most chemistry.
It's definitely not the most chemistry I've ever seen, but they came to mind first as having chemistry and an attraction that worked well, so I'll say Oliver Queen/Chloe Sullivan from Smallville. I've loved them together as couple for a really long time even though I only recently really got back into Smallville. I think the writer's actually did a good job portraying their relationship; from something which could be perceived as friends with benefits to something a bit more deeper and meaningful, there weren't any overly cheesy moments (which Smallville writers are quite prone to), and it wasn't so obvious when they finally did the lead up to them getting together, so to speak.
Day 5: The pairing with the least chemistry.
Even though they actually worked out fairly well in the books, I'm going to say Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley (movie). I don't know what that was, but chemistry it was not. Maybe it's because they were cast when they were so young and not really with a clue that there might be Harry/Ginny happening in later books, but that, for me, is one ship I can't stand to watch.
Day 6: The best kiss.
Apologies for the overdose on Australian soaps, but Martha/Jack from Home and Away. As a friend put it, that was breathtaking. The build up, the execution, everything. Sigh.
Day 7: The most heartbreaking scene.
Ten/Rose. Without a doubt, and I'm not even the biggest Ten/Rose fan, but that was utterly heartbreaking. I'm talking about the last scene in Doomsday for anyone that hadn't figured it out. I don't particularly rate Billie as a fantastic actor, but I thought she did that scene really well. And the thing that made me sit up and take notice, was that I had only started watching the season from the episode before, but I was crying my eyes out, that's how well it had been acted out.
